Yongki Sunarta
Graduated from the University of Hong Kong (BAAS ‘20, MArch ‘24) and has worked at renowned international firms including OMA, HASSELL, and the multidisciplinary studio ESKYIU. His experience spans high-profile public, infrastructure, and high-end residential projects across Asia and the Middle East, where he honed a design approach that bridges conceptual depth with real-world complexity.
His works have been recognized with nominations for the RIBA Bronze Medal (2020) and Silver Medal (2024), along with distinctions in international design competitions and exhibitions. In 2023, he was awarded the Hong Kong Institute of Architects Research Grant for his study on the Northern Metropolis, exploring urban connectivity between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. He also briefly studied film at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he developed a design philosophy rooted in storytelling and spatial narrative.
Graduated from the University of Hong Kong (BAAS ‘22) and gained experience in residential, retail, and commercial design at Benoy, contributing to projects such as Resorts World Sentosa and 18 Cross Street in Singapore, as well as developments across South Korea, China, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, India, the Middle East, and Africa. Exposure to such diverse cultural contexts has shaped her sensitivity toward design that bridges global perspectives with local identity.
Alyssa approaches design through both practical and experimental thinking. Her interest in human behavior and its impact across different scales of architecture — from wearable forms to large-scale buildings — stems from a deep curiosity about culture, movement, and heritage.

At AKISA Studio, we see architecture as a way of life — a continuous dialogue between form, function, and idea. We design from essence, prioritizing clarity of thought and precision of space, where sustainability lies in purpose rather than limitation.
Each project is an inquiry into relationships — between structure and use, context and culture, permanence and change. Through narrative-driven design, we aim to create spaces that are rational, enduring, and responsive to contemporary living.
